The Alaska Coastal Management Program (ACMP) sunset at 12:01 AM, Alaska Standard Time, on July 1, 2011 per AS 44.66.030.  This webpage will be viewable for reference purposes through June 30, 2012.  It will then be archived within the Department of Natural Resources.  Beginning on July 1, 2011 the website will remain static and there will be no further updates to the content of the former ACMP website.  If you have any questions, please contact the DNR’s Commissioner’s Office at 907-269-8400.

Update: In response to the 2012 Ballot Initiative, this website will remain viewable at least until the Primary Election results are certified. As a reminder, the ACMP website remains static and has not been updated since June 2011.

 

 

ACMP Proposed 11 AAC 110 Revision

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Coastal and Ocean Management (DCOM) is releasing the informal draft of the Alaska Coastal Management Program (ACMP) proposed changes to the 11 AAC 110 regulations. This version of the informal draft 11 AAC 110 regulations is just that - informal and a draft. We are not accepting written comments on these regulations yet, and have not posted them for formal public review under the Administrative Procedures Act. This informal draft is for discussion purposes only. DNR/DCOM will be discussing proposed changes to the ACMP 11 AAC 110 regulations, which will strengthen the ACMP as a State program, that will benefit applicants and the public in the coordination of projects and that will enhance the coastal district participation regarding activities occurring in the coastal area and on the outer continental shelf.

DCOM has revised the schedule and anticipates releasing the APA version of the ACMP 110 revisions in the near future.
